Description
The Extreme Networks Summit X450e-24p (Part Number 16142) is a fixed-configuration enterprise Ethernet switch designed for high-density Layer 2/Layer 3 network access and Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments. It provides 24 × 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, with all 24 ports supporting PoE. Ports 21–24 are combination interfaces supporting either RJ45 copper or SFP connectivity.
The switch includes four unpopulated 1000BASE-X SFP/mini-GBIC interfaces, an expansion slot for an XGM2 dual 10-Gigabit Ethernet module, and dedicated stacking interfaces. The 16142 configuration includes an AC power supply and ExtremeXOS Edge software licensing.
