Description
The VegaStream Vega 50 Europa 8FXO, part number VS0109, is an 8-port analog FXO VoIP gateway designed to connect traditional analog telephone lines and PSTN services to IP-based voice networks.
The Vega 50 Europa provides 8 FXO ports for connecting external analog telephone lines, PBXs or PSTN interfaces to a VoIP network. It supports SIP and H.323 signaling and provides up to 8 simultaneous VoIP channels. The platform also supports T.38 fax and modem operation using G.711.
The Europa platform was designed to provide interoperability between legacy telephony equipment and modern IP networks. It supports flexible call routing, SIP registration and authentication, DDI/DID, caller ID functions, QoS features, echo cancellation and NAT traversal.
The unit has two 10/100 Ethernet interfaces, allowing it to integrate with an IP network while maintaining connectivity to analog telephony services. It is a compact rackmountable gateway intended for enterprise telecommunications and VoIP deployments.
