Description
The VegaStream Vega 50 Europa 4BRI, part number VS0106, is a digital VoIP gateway designed to connect ISDN BRI telephone services to IP-based voice networks.
The unit provides four BRI interfaces, supporting up to four ISDN BRI connections for integration with PBXs, ISDN telephone services and other digital telephony equipment. The Vega 50 Europa platform converts voice traffic between the BRI/ISDN interface and IP networks, making it suitable for legacy-to-VoIP migration and enterprise telecommunications applications.
VegaStream's original product documentation confirms the 4-port BRI configuration, with four BRI interfaces on the rear panel, along with LAN, console/RS-232 and DC power connections.
The Vega 50 Europa family was available in several configurations, including 2BRI and 4BRI, as well as FXS/FXO variants. The 4BRI version is specifically intended for digital ISDN connectivity rather than analog telephone lines.
