The KEYMILE LineRunner SHDSL-2 DTM DC G703S is a desktop SHDSL modem, part of Keymile's LineRunner SHDSL LCM/DTM system — a modular SHDSL transmission platform for effective provisioning of TDM data services. It uses SHDSL (Single-Pair High-Speed Digital Subscriber Line) transmission technology per ITU-T G.991.2, delivering symmetrical data services with bandwidths up to 4.6 Mbps over 1 and/or 2 copper pairs. This DTM (desktop) unit is supplied with a built-in G.703/G.704 (120 ohm) user interface and can be fitted with additional application interfaces (Ethernet 10/100Base-T, V.35/V.36, X.21/V.11, V.24/V.28) via optional pluggable rear modules. It can be flexibly configured as NT (Network Termination) or LT (Line Termination) at the flick of a switch, and supports remote power feeding to regenerators or other desktop units over the transmission path. Fully compatible with Keymile's UMUX multi-service access platform and the IP-MSAN MileGate, and supervised via Keymile's LineRunner ASMOS management software. This "DC" variant is powered by 48VDC (an AC/230VAC-powered variant is also available).
