Cisco PIX-515E-R-BUN is a legacy enterprise firewall appliance from the Cisco PIX 515E Security Appliance series, configured with a Restricted Bundle (R-BUN) license.
It provides stateful inspection firewalling, NAT, and IPsec VPN capabilities for small-to-medium enterprise perimeter security. The “R-BUN” variant has lower interface and feature limits compared to the unrestricted (UR-BUN) model.
This platform was widely deployed as a branch office firewall and VPN gateway before being replaced by the Cisco ASA 5500 series.
