The Cisco 1921 is a member of the Cisco 1900 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR G2), designed for branch-office and small enterprise networking applications.
The standard CISCO1921/K9 configuration provides two integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, two EHWIC expansion slots, 512 MB of DDR2 DRAM and 256 MB of internal USB flash memory. The platform supports additional WAN, voice, serial, DSL and wireless connectivity through compatible expansion modules.
The router includes hardware-based acceleration for IPsec and SSL encryption and supports Cisco IOS software with routing, security and VPN capabilities. The chassis is 1RU and can be rack-mounted using an optional 19-inch EIA rack-mount kit.
