The Aerohive AP250 is an enterprise-grade wireless LAN access point designed for high-density and high-capacity Wi-Fi deployments. It uses 802.11ac Wave 2 technology with dual 3×3:3 radios and MU-MIMO, supporting aggregate wireless data rates of up to 2.6 Gbps.
A key feature of the AP250 is its software-configurable radio architecture. The radios can be configured for concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation or for dual 5 GHz operation where higher capacity is required.
The AP250 also incorporates Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for proximity and location-based applications and includes a USB interface for IoT expansion. It can operate using existing IEEE 802.3af PoE infrastructure, with additional functionality available when powered through 802.3at.
